Breitling SuperOcean Heritage

Breitling has long been purveyor of chronographs to pilots, but in the 1950's, the popularity of dive watches like the Rolex Submariner and Blancpain Fifty Fathoms pushed Breitling to enter the sub-aquatic race.

In 1957, Breitling released both a time-only dive watch, the SuperOcean Reference 1004, and a diver's chronograph in the form of the Reference 807. These watches would be the start of a long-lasting and ever-evolving line of nautical watches loved by many.

The watch that you're looking at here, a SuperOcean Heritage 44, is Breitling's contemporary take on the SuperOcean model that started it all. Housed in a 44mm stainless steel case with a steel timing bezel, it features a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, a luminous sunburst gray dial with applied indices, date at 6:00, and a steel mesh bracelet. This piece also comes complete with its box, pouch, booklets, warranty card, and hangtag.
